At Walnut Cove Stables, we offer customized care to accomodate your horse's individual needs. Below you will find details about the services offered. We realize every owner and horse are unique and are happy to make changes to better serve our clients. Health and safety are of the utmost importance to our stable and the clients who trust in us to care for their beloved horses. As such, all new boarders are required to provide documentation of vaccinations and negative coggins and will be placed on the stable deworming regimen.


Full Board (with or without a private 450 square foot paddock)

  • Twice daily feeding: as provided and instructed by owner

  • Supplements: provided by owner, given at feed times

  • Hay provided during stalled hours

  • Free access to a round bale of hay when horse turned out during pasture off season

  • Fresh water provided with each feeding 

  • Daily turn out: full day, partial day, and night only turn out available based on time of year and needs of horse

  • Blanketing provided as needed per client request

  • ​Daily stall cleanout with the addition of fresh, clean bedding


Pasture Board

  • Twice daily accountability check where every horse is checked over to ensure health

  • Run in shed closed on three sides

  • Fresh water (heated in winter months)

  • Round bale hay: free access during pasture off season

  • Feeding/supplements: as provided and instructed by owner

  • Blanketing
